Learn about Lauren!

I’m a 21 year old college student from TUD Tallaght campus, graduating later this year in 2020.

I specialise in creative writing, whether it be short stories or scripts and I am also currently in the process of co-writing two fantasy novels. I am very creative at world and character building, creating unique lore for every story and detailed backgrounds for each new character I develop. Each character, I have designed and worked on myself from concepts to final designs, personalities and backgrounds.

As a student in Technological University of Dublin, Tallaght Campus and studying Creative Digital Media, I’ve developed technological skills in using multiple software such as;

Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom / Illustrator / Premiere Pro / After Affects / Audacity.

Eko Studio / WordPress / ProTools

While I specialise in creative writing, I’ve had experience working behind the camera in all aspects of production from camera and audio work, to editing, graphics, producing and even directing. I have also worked in front of the camera as a a presenter and actor when needed, both roles helping me get a clear insight to the operations happening on set.

As an animation fanatic, I am especially passionate about animation, which we studied briefly through my third and fourth year. I’ve focused my skills on storyboarding and character designing and while I learned many new skills in both those regards over my college education, as well as tips straight from the industry, I am constantly learning and growing which I believe shows in my work and is something I take great pride in.

I’ m also quite enthusiastic about photography, and over the last four years I have developed my own style and skill for it, both technically and aesthetically.

I like being challenged and work well both on my own and in a team. My main goal is to be as creative as possible as I have so many ideas I want to bring to life.
